Pick Your Own Strawberries is a family favourite event and who doesn’t love picking fresh fruit straight from the field on a warm summers day.
We open for PYO strawberries in June and grow different varieties that ripen throughout the season making sure we have plenty of delicious fruit to pick.
We grow varieties such as Elsanta, Sweetheart, Symphony, Allegro and Elegance which are selected for their amazing taste, appearance and ripening date. They are all grown uncovered in the soil and therefore ripen naturally in the sunshine. All our strawberry plants are bedded up with golden straw and tended to by hand to protect the fruit.
All strawberries are sold by weight and so you pay for what you pick.
Remember to head to the Ice Cream Parlour afterwards to pick up some take home ice cream to go with your strawberries.
